We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Compliance Officer to join our Risk and Compliance team.

If you have considerable practical experience and technical Risk & Compliance knowledge and are ready for a new challenge and personal growth, we would love to hear from you. The successful candidate will assist in designing, maintaining, and delivering the robust and pragmatic systems and controls required to ensure that the Group remains fully compliant with all relevant regulations. The role may progress to include the responsibilities of Money Laundering Reporting Officer (R15).

Essential requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma level qualification in Risk Management, Compliance, Governance or similar
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in a Risk Management, Compliance, Financial Crime Prevention role or similar with a strong record of performance
  • A self-starter with the ability to make decisions and use own initiative within the scope of regulatory requirements, policy and procedures
  • An-depth understanding of domestic regulation, particularly the Financial Services Rule Book, AML/CFT Code and Handbook
  • A working knowledge of international regulatory initiatives which impact the Isle of Man
  • A collaborative team player
  • A strong and clear communicator able to develop and maintain strong and collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels
  • Accomplished presenter to internal, and external audiences
  • An expert understanding of data protection would be highly desirable
