Last week the Legal 500 published its Isle of Man results based on feedback from clients, peers and independent assessors alike.

Cains Advocates is proud to have been ranked in the top tier for each of Banking and Finance, Commercial Property, Corporate and Commercial, Dispute Resolution and Shipping, Aviation and Space.

Cains is also the only Isle of Man law firm to have three members in the prestigious Hall of Fame, being Richard Vanderplank (Banking and Finance; Corporate and Commercial; Investment Funds/Capital Markets), Peter Clucas (Dispute Resolution) and Seth Caine (Dispute Resolution).  Other leading individuals include Tristan Head (Banking and Finance), Alex Poole-Wilson (Commercial Property) and Steven Quayle (Shipping, Aviation and Space), with Matthew Wilkinson being accredited as one of the “Next Generation Lawyers”.

The firm is described as having a “great commercial team” with “good links with regulators and always has a good understanding of what they expect from a transaction”, while its lawyers are variously described as “very responsive” and able to act as “a very capable interpreter for those not fluent in legalese”.
