Cains, the Isle of Man based law and professional services group, announces the appointment of Lindsey Bermingham as an additional Director of Cains Advocates Limited.
Lindsey’s practice focuses on all aspects of commercial and chancery litigation. She has represented a wide range of clients, with her main areas of expertise including regulatory matters, fraud, anti-money laundering and white collar crime.
Lindsey acted for HM Attorney General/the United States Department of Justice in the case of re Poyiadjis in the Isle of Man High Court and for HM Attorney General in the prosecution of Trevor and Wendy Baines.
Lindsey currently acts as local counsel for Hirco plc, an AIM listed company, in proceedings brought by Hirco before the Isle of Man High Court seeking damages of over £300 million for alleged fraud and misconduct against certain of its former directors.
