Experience:
Charles joined Cains as head of business development in November 2003 bringing
with him both knowledge of and contacts in the United Kingdom domestic marketplace
and offshore centres. Having helped with the successful opening of the London office during 2005 he reverted on 1 February 2006 to the role of Non Executive Director of Equity Ltd, a Corporate Service Provider which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cains, a position he has held since 2002.
After 14 years in the army, Charles spent 10 years as head of marketing at
Fleming Private Asset Management and 2 years in a similar role at NCL Investments.
From 2001 to 2006 he was a Director of Tru-Est Limited, a publishing company focusing
on the needs of high net worth individuals and their advisers. Since the beginning of 2007 he has been Business Development Director for Cheviot Asset Management .
He is a trustee of a number of charities and has been a regular visitor to the Isle
of Man both for business and pleasure for nearly 20 years.
