Cains Fiduciaries provides administration services to private and institutional collective investment schemes in the Isle of Man. Funds in the Isle of Man are generally subject to regulation but private funds with fewer than fifity participants can be structured as exempt schemes which are outside the scope of the fund regulatory system.

Cains Fiduciaries, as a regulated fiduciary service provider, is able to provide formation and ongoing administration and compliance services to such exempt funds. These funds are suitable for any type of investment fund from traditional, long-only equity funds to hedge fund strategies, and from private equity to property investment schemes.

Working in conjunction with Cains, the team can advise in relation to all aspects of exempt scheme fund work, including the establishment, organisation and ongoing administration of exempt funds in a variety of asset classes, with a particular emphasis on private equity related and real estate schemes.
