Cains Is ‘Clear Leader’ In Aim 100
Cains has maintained its position as the top legal adviser to the AIM 100 according to the latest Hemscott AIM Advisers Rankings Guide.
The July 2008 edition of the survey, which ranks advisers to companies floating on London’s Alternative Investment Market (AIM), names Cains as the number one legal adviser to the AIM 100 based upon number of clients (7). Cains also ranks in third place based upon the combined market capitalisation of its clients (£2695 million).
The report goes on to state that “Cains has become the clear leader in a very tight list of AIM 100 clients”.
Andrew Corlett, Managing Director, Cains, commented: “We are very pleased with these rankings. It is a very difficult and volatile time in the capital markets and the number of IPOs are low. We do, however, have a strong pipeline of pre launch companies primarily from the BRIC countries. Additionally, there is still an appetite for companies from certain economic and geographic sectors. For example, last week saw the AIM Listing of Norcon, one of our telecomm clients with extensive Middle East business interests.” |
