Cains New Recruit

Cains is delighted to announce that Christopher Kinley has joined its Corporate Department.

Christopher has moved from Gough & Co where his specialised areas of practice included mergers and acquisitions and asset and project finance including aviation and shipping finance.

Christopher is from a maritime family with strong connections in the south of the Isle of Man. His paternal grandfather, George Kinley, was Commodore of the Steam Packet and his father, Geoffrey Kinley, was a lecturer in laws at Kings College London as well as being a shipping/aviation specialist Barrister who participated in some notable Manx cases, for instance taking DHSS v Barr to the ECJ in the early 1990s.

Christopher was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, then at the School of Slavonic and East European Studies, University College London, where he read Russian. His legal education was at the College of Law, London.
