Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators

Neal Aitken, a Corporate Manager and the Compliance Officer of Equity Limited, the corporate service provider subsidiary of Cains Advocates Limited, has been elected a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (“ICSA”). The status of Fellowship is the Institute’s senior grade and is only awarded, by the Admissions Council, to those members of ICSA who can demonstrate a high level of experience, responsibility and seniority. Neal, who has a background in stockbroking administration, gained extensive experience as the assistant company secretary of a Liverpool based firm of stockbrokers, and also within the company secretarial department of the UK listed media company, EMAP plc, based at their head office in Peterborough.
In addition to his ICSA qualification, Neal is a professionally qualified member of the International Compliance Association and holds the ICSA Post Qualifying Diploma in Company and Trust Offshore Planning.
Neal commented: “I am delighted and honoured that the experience I have gained during my career both on and off Island has been formally recognised through my election as a Fellow of ICSA, and I look forward to continuing to service the requirements of Equity’s institutional and other clients”.
