Steven Quayle, Head of Aviation at Cains presented on the topic of aircraft structures at the recent European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva. It was the eighth consecutive year of attendance by the firm.
EBACE is held annually in Geneva and is the only conference/exhibition held in Europe that is dedicated to business aviation. In 2014, there were approximately 13,000 attendees and 499 exhibitors, including: manufacturers; financiers; corporate service providers; and professional advisers.
The Isle of Man Aircraft Register is the second largest in Europe based on the number of business jets actively registered. It is close to registering it’s 800th aircraft (with approximately 460 aircraft currently registered).
Cains has advised on the Isle of Man aspects of over 300 business jet transactions since the Register was established, acting for clients ranging from global banks to owners and aircraft manufacturers.
