Cains is an Isle of Man based independent international law and professional services group and is at the forefront of the development of the Isle of Man as an international finance centre.

We offer specialist legal services to our international and domestic clients. We provide Isle of Man legal expertise and regularly co-ordinate the provision of advice and the management of multi-jurisdictional transactions. Our lawyers work closely with metropolitan professional advisory firms with regard to company incorporations, transactions, restructuring and related corporate activities.

Our international clients include major banks and financial institutions and multi-national enterprises including major airlines and ship-owners, in addition to other public and private companies drawn from a wide cross-section of global industry and commerce. We also act for a select number of private individuals.

We make great efforts to contribute to the success of our home jurisdiction. Our lawyers participate at the highest level in both national and international policy initiatives and are involved in numerous sectoral working groups aimed at ensuring that the Isle of Man remains an attractive jurisdiction for reputable international business.

In addition to the provision of legal services, Cains Fiduciaries Limited is our in-house fiduciary services provider, licensed by the Isle of Man Financial Supervision Commission to provide collective investment scheme, corporate and trust services. Cains Fiduciaries provide establishment, administration and accounting services to institutional, corporate and family office clients.

Senior personnel within the fiduciaries' team include qualified corporate secretaries, accountants, bankers and trust practitioners who have many years of experience in the international financial services industry. They work in close co-operation with lawyers from the corporate department of Cains to provide a seamless service, delivering a first class and in-depth understanding of the legal, regulatory and commercial aspects of a specific client transaction or in regard to a client's ongoing business affairs.
